Broken Neck Mandolin
This mandolin had a crack in the neck joint, basically i just took the neck out and re-glued it.

Jack & Danny Dobro/Resonator + Fender Pickup
In this project a spare fender pickup from the 70's was installed on a cheap Jack and Danny Dobro/Resonator, the result was very satisfactory, great tone and sustain. The signal is directly connected to the jack socket, and ground is connected to the guitar plate so no volume or tone. here is the process:
